Students, parents and guardians are advised that Redcliff Middle School will be open for classes tomorrow, March 26, 2015.

Snow and ice build-up has been removed from the roof; the school is considered safe.

Students were dismissed early on Tuesday as a precautionary measure after a crack in the lobby ceiling was discovered. CCRSB staff members have worked to clear the roof of ice and snow and an engineering firm is consulting with the school board going forward.

The Regular Public Board Meeting of the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board will take place tomorrow evening, September 9th, beginning at 7:00 pm in the cafetorium of South Colchester Academy, 207 Highway 289, Brookfield, NS.

Parents and guardians are advised that students at Northport Consolidated, Cumberland North Academy, EB Chandler Junior High and Amherst Regional High School are being dismissed early due to a widespread power outage. Parents and guardians of students at Northport Consolidated and Cumberland North are being contacted now. Walkers at all four schools are leaving now (as parents/guardians are contacted for Northport and Cumberland North) and buses will be arriving soon.

Students, parents and guardians are advised that all CCRSB schools (counties of Pictou, Cumberland & Colchester, and the Municipality of East Hants) are closed today due to the weather. This also means that all school-based activities are cancelled for the day.

The opening of all CCRSB offices and work sites will be delayed by two hours. 

The Committee-of-the-Whole Meeting of the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board will take place this Wednesday, April 6th, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Central Office boardroom, 60 Lorne Street, Truro.
