Eight CCRSB students off to Provincial Heritage Fair!
Congratulations to all Provincial & Regional Heritage Fair Participants!
On May 6, over 190 Grade 4 to 9 students presented 161 projects – 34 en français – at the annual Chignecto-Central Regional Heritage Fair at the Truro Campus of the Nova Scotia Community College. Our Grade 4-9 students, representing 10 schools, wowed the volunteer judges with their ingenuity, research, presentation skills and enthusiasm. Click here to read the full list of Regional Winners!

Special thanks is extended to the staff of the Nova Scotia Community College, Truro Campus for their fine support, to the CCRSB Operational Services staff who assisted with the setup and tear-down of the facility, and to students from Cobequid Educational Centre who provided Alumni service, assisted with judging, and entertained participants in the early afternoon.
The Regional Heritage Fair committee, under Ken Henderson’s leadership, and with administrative support from Greg Nix and Peter Oldrieve, is to be commended for the excellent job in organizing and planning the Regional Heritage Fair for students across CCRSB!
